THE STORY:

Driven by a shared vision to build a better future, we're proud to have joined forces with Clarion Housing Group to change the way they are running their projects. Clarion's first experience with innDex came on the Cocoa Works project where Henry Boot, one of their Main Contractors, was using it to run their site operations. Initially introduced to our Access Control solution, they quickly saw that innDex offered far more: streamlining operations, enhancing communication, and keeping teams connected and informed, even remotely. As a Client Organisation, Clarion wanted full visibility and control across their contractors' activities. innDex allows remote management capabilities across multiple sites so they can make smarter, swifter decisions from anywhere, at any time.

With around 40 projects across the UK, Clarion's rapid expansion made manual Health and Safety management unsustainable. Working with multiple contractors added another layer of complexity, making transparency across deliveries and site activities a challenge. They also saw the power of data capture but needed a strategic approach to harness it effectively and start driving informed decision-making.

We teamed up with Clarion Housing Group to fine-tune their data capture strategy and goals, locking in 20 independent categories designed for reporting Near Misses, Observations, and Good Calls. This makes sure every operative can flag health and safety (H&S) issues with precision. No noise, just clear, actionable data.

By structuring reports this way, Clarion can analyse trends, spot risks before they escalate, and drive smarter decision-making. And the best part? They can do it all from their office. As a Client Organisation that doesn't result in the need for frequent site visits, this setup gives them full visibility and control and ensures H&S stays proactive and not reactive across all their projects. Since adopting innDex, the reporting process has not only improved but also increased significantly, leading to a more data-driven and engaged safety culture.

In their monthly reviews, Clarion uses reports and data analysis to identify trends and take proactive steps to reduce safety risks. When comparing teams under the same management, the team using innDex is consistently better at H&S reporting.
