THE CHALLENGES
Phoenix ME has grown rapidly for the past few years, and they were in need of solutions that would be able to scale with them. They sought for something that could automate and speed up a lot of their site processes.
Time Management was challenging, managers didn’t even know who was on site unless they were physically there, counting them. Paper-based sign-ins meant delayed and admin-heavy processes were required to support monthly reporting to head office.
“We do around 600 inductions across all of our projects every month. Previously, we used paper forms, and we often needed to photocopy and scan everything onto our systems. That used to take at least 10 minutes per induction. It was tough to have full visibility on site and track the progress our teams have made during the day, week or even the month.” says Edward Day, HSEQ Advisor at Phoenix ME.

Implemented
RAMS.
Site and Project Managers can use innDex to check and approve RAMS. These are then viewed and signed during the induction process or briefed on-site before work starts. Revision control also happens on innDex, with only the most up-to-date RAMS made available for briefing. Reports can be run to understand briefings undertaken and records can be reviewed to ensure only briefed operatives and undertaking tasks. Take it one step further and only allow those briefed to access the site.
Inductions.
Saving Phoenix ME over 100 hours each month. Inductions are completed in minutes on innDex. Site colleagues show up to site briefed, ready to work and focus on what matters most.
Progress Photos.
Operatives can snap a picture, and update the project timeline instantly to keep track of the work undertaken by the wider team. This also works to report back to the Client or Main Contractor at the end of the shift, keeping everything transparent and all up to date.
